By accessing, browsing, or using this website www.YourAncestryDetective.com you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and that you are of legal age and capacity to enter into a contract for Professional Genealogy Research Services, and that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not meet the above qualifications, or disagree with any of these terms and conditions, do not use this website or any of its services. Your Ancestry Detective LLC will treat your accessing, browsing, and use of this website and services as acceptance of the terms and conditions from this point and going forward.

Your Ancestry Detective LLC and its Principals reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at their sole discretion at any time, therefore it is a person’s responsibility who accesses and uses this website to check for any changes and/or updates. Your continued use of this website and services, following the posting of changes and/or updates to these terms and conditions, means you accept these changes and/or updates.

PROFESSIONAL GENEALOGY RESEARCH SERVICES

Your Ancestry Detective LLC is located in Ocala Florida and provides genealogy research, analysis, evaluation, consultation, education and genealogy services for clients who are of legal age and ability to pay in advance for such professional level work. Your Ancestry Detective LLC services are sold in pre-paid portions of time that are pre-determined projects focusing on authorized client goals that have been agreed upon for each project. Prior to purchase, Your Ancestry Detective LLC offers a free consultation wherein Your Ancestry Detective LLC will discuss, goals, scope, possibilities, and options with consumers and potential clients. Your Ancestry Detective LLC will then advise and recommend the best goal and appropriate size of the project to meet the consumer needs; but clients always choose the size of their project according to their purchasing decisions.

As the client you recognize and accept that Your Ancestry Detective Professional Genealogy Research Services utilizes experience, education, expertise, efficiency, time and effort to fulfill your specific research goals, but with no guarantee of the results or correlation between the costs of discovery and the eventual project size that will be needed to accomplish the agreed upon goals. There are no guarantees, warranties or promises implied or otherwise given with regards to the results of research services, as it is not known in advance by Your Ancestry Detective LLC, or the client whether the desired results can be obtained.

The Client is required to supply Your Ancestry Detective LLC with the requested family history and genealogy information and instructions needed by Your Ancestry Detective LLC to provide such services in pre-purchased blocks of time. Quality of results, timely delivery of completed job, and to avoid duplication of previous research effort are dependent upon receipt of the project-required Client-provided family history and genealogy items and instructions including a Genealogy Research Survey (GRS), Pedigree Chart, Family History and Genealogy Materials, Records, Documents and Information and a signed Your Ancestry Detective LLC Letter with mutually agreed-upon client focused research goals.

SERVICES AGREEMENT

Your Ancestry Detective LLC Professional Genealogy Research Services uses a process to deliver a client’s order within specific time frames based upon the specific packaged purchased by the client. Any additional time can be negotiated by an hourly rate under a separate signed agreement by Your Ancestry Detective LLC and the client. Please refer to the packages page on this website for packages and associated time frames. Project hours will be spent on project setup/completion, research, analysis, and reporting and are customized for clients’ needs specific to the work. The completed professional genealogy work will be delivered by Your Ancestry Detective LLC choice of secured carrier with full tracking details in Your Ancestry Detective LLC presentation format.

Terms and Conditions

Projects are initially handled in the order that payment is received; and then following receipt of the required Client-provided family history and genealogy items and instructions, by date of the receipt of the signed Your Ancestry Detective LLC authorization letter. Client works are generally completed within the time frame that coincides with the package the client purchased after receipt of all requested Client-provided materials and signed Your Ancestry Detective LLC authorization letter approving the client’s goals. However, there may be times when a project will extend beyond the respective packaged time frames depending on receipt of correspondence from outside research contacts, the availability of resources, records acquisition or unforeseen circumstances. Your Ancestry Detective LLC will keep the client informed of such circumstances and any changes to the estimated project completion date. Payment for Your Ancestry Detective LLC Research services, including all options listed on the Your Ancestry Detective LLC order form, this website and other marketing materials pertain to the use of expertise and the time spent, and not to the research results. When research is conducted or professional services provided, Your Ancestry Detective LLC has no way of knowing in advance what will be found beforehand. Your Ancestry Detective LLC provide quality, experienced professional genealogy research services.

At times, research projects may require the additional purchase of records from third parties. Up to $200 in the costs associated with obtaining records in these circumstances can be pre-approved when the client signs and agrees to the Your Ancestry Detective LLC authorization letter. Known costs of these records will be billed to the client at the time they are ordered or at the time of completion of the project. If records become available that cost in addition to the pre-approved $200, the client will be notified for their written approval to order these documents. If the costs are known, the client will be billed prior to ordering these records; if unknown, payment is expected prior to delivery of the finished work. Occasionally it may take longer than the projected completion date of the project for the records to be received by Your Ancestry Detective LLC. In the event of that happening, the finished project report of finding will be sent directly to the client via Your Ancestry Detective LLC choice of secured carrier with full tracking details without the record. When the record arrives, the client will be notified and billed prior to delivery of the record. Payment is expected prior to delivery of any record.

Your Ancestry Detective LLC recognizes that client circumstances may change, resulting in the cancellation of a project. However, due to the time allocation to a client’s project Your Ancestry Detective LLC could in fact lose other client orders as a result of planned time allocation. Therefore once Your Ancestry Detective LLC receives a signed letter of authorization and agreement, Your Ancestry Detective LLC regrettably cannot issue refunds for any cancellation/postponements or reasons.

LICENSES AND RESTRICTIONS

This site is owned and operated by Your Ancestry Detective LLC. All material found at this site is owned or licensed by us. You may view, download, and print material from this site only for your personal, noncommercial use. You may not post material from this site on another website or on a computer network without our permission. You may not transmit or distribute material from this site to others. You may not use this site or information found at this site (including the names and addresses of those who submitted information) for selling or promoting products or services, soliciting clients, or any other commercial purpose.
